Development And Forecast Of China's Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Industry

According to the National Customs statistics, China's exports of 891,000 unmanned aircraft in 2015, the year-on-year growth of 427.2%, exports of 515 million U.S. dollars (about 3.27 billion yuan), year-on-year growth of 730.6%. The main export areas are Hong Kong, North America and the European Union, with an average export price of about 3670 yuan. Of these, 40% of Hong Kong's exports are re-exported to North America and the European Union. 2015 China's imports of unmanned aircraft 145,000, the year-on-year growth of 1350%, the import amount of 110 million U.S. dollars, year-on-year growth of 83.3%. The average price of imports is about 4817 yuan. At present, there are about 400 unmanned aircraft manufacturers in China, supplying 70% of the world's unmanned aerial vehicle demand market.


China's unmanned aircraft market in 2015, the total size of 6.66 billion yuan, the year-on-year growth of 48%, accounting for the global market size of 15%. It is expected that 2016 will continue to grow at a high rate of more than 9.6 billion yuan, to more than 19 billion yuan by 2018. 2014 domestic civilian UAV products sales scale of 1.5 billion yuan, 2015 about 2.33 billion yuan. In the next 5 years, will maintain the compound growth rate of about 60%, to 2018 market scale will surpass 8 billion yuan.
